“Ten sonatas for piano & violin and musical world around it” – concert series dedicated to the 250th anniversary of German genius composer Ludwig van Beethoven, launched by pianist Armine Grigoryan and violinist Karen Shahgaldyan.
Aram Khachaturian Museum is celebrating the jubilee of the famous classic with a concert serie during each of which Maestro’s sonatas will be performed as well as musical masterpieces of his time.
The second concert of the jubilee concert series will take place on March 19, at 19:00 in the beautiful and hospitable concert hall of Aram Khachaturian Museum.
Program of the second evening:
Giuseppe Tartini-Fritz Kreisler – “Devil’s Thrill” sonata for violin and piano, published in 1798
Joseph Haydn – String quartet, op.76, N3, C major, written in 1798
Giovanni Battista Viotti – Duet for two violins, op.5, N5, C major, written in 1798
Ludwig van Beethoven – Sonata for piano and violin, op.12, N.2, written in 1798.
