Call for EU-supported Mobility Grants for Artists and Cultural Professionals

Funded by the European Union (EU), the EU4Culture project opens its mobility grant call for artists and cultural professionals from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and the Republic of Moldova. The opportunity for the representatives of the creative industries aims at supporting their professional development by stimulating intercultural dialogue and knowledge-exchange.

With the mobility grants, artists and cultural professionals can expand their experiences through internships, study visits, conferences, and other relevant activities abroad.

Representatives of creative industries, aged 18 or above, from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and the Republic of Moldova, are eligible to apply for the mobility grant.

The call offers four types of mobility:

  • 1. Short-term mobility (5-10 calendar days) – up to €1,500
  • 2. Medium-term mobility (up to 5 weeks) – up to €3,500
  • 3. Long-term mobility (up to 12 weeks) – up to €5,000
  • 4. Virtual mobility (online participation) – up to €1,000

Selected mobility projects can be implemented between 1 April – 30 September 2024 in the EU Member States, EU partner countries and other European countries.

To apply for the EU4Culture Mobility grant, an action plan and budget for international mobility must be submitted through the Goethe Application Portal (GAP).

The open call ends on 16 February 2024, at 23:59 (Central European Time).

EU4Culture is a four-year project funded by the EU to support the culture and creative sector with a special focus on non-capital cities and towns in the Eastern Partnership Countries. The project is implemented by Goethe-Institut (Lead), Czech Centers, Danish Cultural Institute and Institut Français de Géorgie. Since its inception, EU4Culture has successfully launched four mobility grant calls, supporting 294 individuals.
