Smashing Times International Centre for the Arts and Equality is inviting applications for Creative Connections, a unique ‘train the trainer’ training programme that provides training in theatre facilitation practice. Trainees learn how to use creative processes of theatre and film to promote conflict resolution and peace building with local communities.
The training is suitable for artists, cultural workers, teachers, professors, community workers, youth workers, youth leaders, facilitators, peace workers and all those working in an arts and community relations context. The training is aimed at all those interested in using the arts to explore the kind of society we want for the future inspired by equality, human rights, diversity and peace. Participants are trained in how to implement a theatre and film-based module using creative processes to promote conflict resolution and peace building with local communities.
